Peter Roithmayr is an independent consultant in the video game industry. Previously, he was the Vice President of Strategic Merchandising within the Video Game division at Electronics Boutique.
Mr. Roithmayr had been at Electronics Boutique for over 18 years and is known throughout the industry as a primary resource for trend awareness and product life cycle analysis. He is knowledgeable on hardware (Next Generation consoles such as Wii, PS3, XBOX 360) and Software ( Electronic Arts, Nintendo, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Take Two, Sony, THQ).

Sony's Latest Gaming Device Cuts Out Retailers | www.cnbc.com
Sony's latest gaming device does NOT cut out retailers as this titles infers. There is still plenty of business for retailers to capture in this category with the PSP Go including hardware and accessory sales as well as pre-paid game cards (similar to Apple's iTune gift cards).
