Mr. Peter Robertson

Council Member Biography

Peter D. Robertson is a Partner at Crowell & Moring LLP in Washington, DC, where he focuses in the area of public policy, especially environmental/energy law and policy. His work ranges from representing clients on energy and environmental policy matters to negotiating settlements of environmental enforcement cases to regulatory work in the energy and environmental arenas. Previously, he served as Acting Deputy Administrator and Chief of Staff of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) during the Clinton Administration. He provided policy guidance to the Agency and served as a liaison between the Agency and all stakeholders, including business, state and local governments, NGOs and others. Prior to his service at EPA, Mr. Robertson was in the private practice of law. He also served for more than six years on Capitol Hill as a staff member to the Committee on the Budget of the US House of Representatives and as Legislative Assistant. (This is me - Update Profile)
