Peter Muoio, Ph.D. is Senior Principal of Maximus Advisors. Maximus Advisors is a real estate consulting firm comprised of Dr. Muoio and his partners who have over thirty years of combined experience in real estate research. The firm specializes in tailored real estate and housing market research performed in conjunction with its clients’ real estate capital markets, investment and portfolio management activities. Immediately prior to forming Maximus Advisors, Dr. Muoio was a Managing Director and Global Head of Deutsche Bank Real Estate Research with teams in New York, London, Frankfurt and Sydney. He came to Deutsche Bank upon Deutsche Bank’s acquisition of Bankers Trust Company, which he joined in 1987. At Bankers Trust, Dr. Muoio started and headed the Real Estate Research group. Additionally, he is a regular lecturer at the NYU Real Estate Institute, focusing on regional and real estate market analysis and real estate finance, and speaks regularly at company-specific and industry conferences. Previously, Dr. Muoio was an instructor at Hofstra University where he taught Industrial Organization. Prior to that, he worked as a Research Associate at the WEFA Group, an economic consulting firm. Dr. Muoio received his Ph.D. from Duke University in 1988, where he was awarded the James B. Duke Fellowship. He received a B.A. Summa Cum Laude in Economics and History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. (This is me - Update Profile)
