Peter Harben

Peter Harben is the Founder of Peter W. Harben Inc., an independent consultancy firm specializing in the markets for industrial minerals and certain related chemicals, metals, and construction materials. Mr. Harben has more than 30 years of experience in conducting market evaluations, evaluating acquisition opportunities, developing marketing plans, and writing technical texts for mining companies, national governments, mineral consumers and traders, transportation companies, and investors. Previously, he was with the international journal Industrial Minerals as Deputy Editor in London and then American Editor in New York. Mr. Harben holds a BS in Geology and Mining from the University of Wales, Cardiff and an MS in Mineral Exploration from the Royal School of Mines at Imperial College, London. In 2005, he was awarded the prestigious Hal Williams Hardinge Award for his contributions to the field of industrial minerals marketing and research. (This is me - Update Profile)
