Peter Happe is Tax Partner of the law firm Schlutter Bornheim Seitz in Cologne, Germany. Before that he was CFO of a Zurich based asset manager of a private equity fund investing in real estate. Until 2006 Dr. Happe was a tax partner with Dewey Ballantine. Dr. Happe has over 10 years experience in accounting and taxation in both the US and Germany. Dr. Happe is a licensed CPA in the State of New York and practiced in the U.S. and is a Steuerberater (licensed tax advisor) in Germany. Dr. Happe focuses on M&A, Real Estate, international tax and structured finance transactions from a tax and accounting perspective. He has advised numerous multi-national clients from the following areas: investment banking, commercial banking, leasing, real estate, health care, energy, automotive, mutual funds and closed-end funds. Besides his taxation knowledge, Dr. Happe has extensive experience with IFRS and German GAAP. Mr. Happe holds a M.B.A. and PhD, D.B.A. from the University of Muenster. (This is me - Update Profile)
