Mr. Paul Maycock

Council Member Biography

Paul Maycock is President and Owner of Photovoltaic Energy Systems. Mr. Maycock provides consulting and information products on all aspects of photovoltaic energy systems. He performs market research and product development, designs photovoltaic manufacturing facilities, as well as completes due diligence on mergers, acquisitions and investments. Mr. Maycock publishes reports on PV markets, technology, and manufacturing costs and performance. He has authored three books on the photovoltaic industry including the "Guide to the Photovoltaic Revolution","America Challenged, Photovoltaics in Japan". Mr. Maycock formed and managed the United States Photovoltaic Program for the Department of Energy (Senior Executive Service). He is also a solid state physicist with 13 years of experience at Texas Instruments. Additionally, Mr. Maycock served the U.S. Navy Research establishment, and is a retired Navy Captain.
