Patrick Young

Patrick Young is Chairman of The Danube Project and is establishing a new CEE/SEE boutique investment bank in the Balkans. Mr. Young is a leading independent expert on exchanges and market structure with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of markets including derivatives. He has served as an advisor and consultant to banks, exchanges, investors, governments/governments agencies world-wide on all aspects of capital markets structure and development. Mr. Young has served as a Partner in a proprietary trading operation and provided advisory services to various exchanges including AESX, BESA, CME, Deutsche Borse, EOEX, Euronext, IPE, LIFFE, Montreal Exchange, and SAFEX. He has been heavily involved in the development of single stock futures and exchange sports trading amongst others and was a Director of the Swiss Futures & Options Exchange (SFOA) for 5 years. Most recently, Mr. Young was a Director at ODL Monaco SAM, a Monte Carlo-based boutique which offers 24 hour trading in foreign exchange, CFDs, equities, futures and options to private traders, institutions, fund managers and brokers. He has authored various bestselling books including “New Capital Market Revolution,” “Capital Market Revolution,” "The Promiscuous Investor” and "The Exchange Manifesto." Mr. Young frequently appears on BBC, Bloomberg, CNN, CNBC and ITV television and writes for leading financial journals such as the WSJ.
