Noah Barsky, PhD, is a Financial Services Professor at the Villanova University School of Business. His research and teaching focus on contemporary financial reporting, performance measurement, business planning, and risk assessment. Dr. Barsky’s professional experience includes work as an analyst, auditor and business consultant. He has served on business advisory boards and as the Treasurer for a retailing cooperative. Dr. Barsky has also authored five books and published numerous articles in various academic and professional journals, including the Commercial Lending Review, Corporate Finance Review, Journal of Law & Commerce, and Strategic Finance. He has received teaching excellence honors and national and international awards and grants for his scholarly writing and curriculum innovation. Dr. Barsky holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut and BS/MS from Penn State University. He is both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
