Nathan Smith is an Industry Analyst and Consultant at Frost & Sullivan's North American Aerospace & Defense Practice. Mr. Smith focuses on monitoring and analyzing emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics in commercial aerospace with a focus on the global aircraft maintenance repair and overhauls market. He is a private pilot and retains a FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. Since joining Frost & Sullivan, Mr. Smith has specialized in commercial aerospace and has written and published several aerospace and defense research reports, as well as a contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines. He has spent 26 years in aircraft maintenance and engineering with a major airline, serving in several technical and management position. Mr. Smith brings with him over 30 years of commercial and military aviation experience that includes aircraft line maintenance, aircraft, engine and component overhaul, avionics, non-destructive testing, quality assurance and as a instructor.
