Mitsumasa Sakamoto is a Senior Consultant at Big Picture International. Sakamoto started his 20+ year professional career in the consumer electronics and home appliances industry working at Toshiba which included extensive international experience, specifically in markets such as Singapore or Hong Kong. Additionally, Mr. Sakamoto has professional experience in the film distribution business where he worked at two studios, Warner Bros. Japan and Twenty Century Fox Japan as Sales Director and Managing Director respectively. He was also in charge of international film acquisitions as General Manager of GAGA Communications for 3 years during which time he built an extensive international film industry network. After 8 years experience in the film industry, he moved into the Internet advertising business, overseeing GyaO, one of Japan's largest Internet content aggregators.
