Mr. Michael Schwindle

Council Member Biography

Michael Schwindle is the Chief Financial Officer at Musician's Friend, Inc., an online retailer. Prior to that, Mr. Schwindle was a former subsidiary CFO for The Home Depot, a GA-based home-improvement retailer. He has over 18 years of experience as accounting and finance executive, predominately in the retail industry. Previously, Mr. Schwindle was the Director of Finance at the same organization. He has knowledge of most financial areas of a retail organization including corporate finance, treasury, investor relations, strategic planning, merchandise planning, store control, and sales analysis. Previously, Mr. Schwindle has worked for The Limited, Inc., Galyans Sports & Outdoor, and Rent-A-Center. In addition to his retail expertise, he also spent four years as a Senior Consultant and Staff Auditor at Deloitte & Touché, with two years in their Middle Market Consulting Services group.
