Michael McNeely is in private practice in Washington, DC, where he provides antitrust counseling and representation. Mr. McNeely consults on the antitrust and antitrust agency aspects of mergers, generic drug approvals, telecommunications, patents, standard setting, and other topics. He also represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. Previously, Mr. McNeely was Special Counsel in the antitrust practice at DLA Piper. Before entering private practice, he served for twelve years as an Assistant Director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition, where he supervised antitrust enforcement in many business sectors, including pharmaceuticals and health care. Before his time at the FTC, Mr. McNeely was an attorney in the Antitrust Division, where his work included a lead role in the AT&T litigation, policy planning and analysis, and merger enforcement.
