Michael London is an advisor for the Eames Management Group, an international retail consulting firm specializing in emerging markets, where he has been since August 2008. Prior to this, Mr. London worked as an independent consultant for clients including, Accenture Consulting, Polaroid, and Toys R Us among others, from 2006 to 2007. Previously, Mr. London’s spent from 1996 to 2006 with Best Buy in senior executive positions. . From June 2005 to July 2006 Mr. London worked on special projects focused on Best Buy’s China business, Customer Centricity and Hispanic outreach. From February 2004 to May 2005 he was the EVP of Global Sourcing and was responsible for the strategy, management, and business results of Best Buy’s private label initiative in China. From July 2003 to Jan 2004, Mr. London was the EVP of Customer Centricity where he led Best Buy’s initial efforts to transform its business utilizing Consumer Insights. Before that, from 2001 to 2003, he was the EVP of Merchandising and was responsible for the performance of specified merchandise. Mr. London began his career at Best Buy in 1996 when he served as the VP of Merchandising until 1998. He is able to speak on strategy, merchandising, procurement, global sourcing, and store operations. (This is me - Update Profile)
