Council Member Biography
Michael Francis is a co-founder and Principal at ExMor Capital, a mortgage industry service company, dedicated to managing capital markets risk for financial institutions originating residential mortgages. He has 23 years in the mortgage banking industry, which ranges from hedging and trading, capital markets and risk management to operations, product development and servicing sale strategies. Prior to founding ExMor, Mr. Francis was instrumental in helping build the US Residential Mortgage Trading Desk at Morgan Stanley, and was responsible for daily rate sheet pricing, all forward flow transactions, product development and servicing sales. He worked directly with the top 300 mortgage bankers in the US and managed Morgan Stanley’s relationship with agencies and mortgage insurers. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Francis held senior management positions at Aurora Loan Services (Lehman Brothers) and Loan America. (This is me - Update Profile)
