Council Member Biography

Michael Brennan, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer and Owner of The Pain Center of Fairfield in Connecticut. He is a nationally recognized leader in the field of pain management as well as cancer related disabilities and lymph edema. Dr. Brennan has served on National Consensus panels for the American Cancer Society as well as been a consultant to several pharmaceutical companies. He has lectured internationally and often speaks about pain assessment and its comprehensive management. Dr. Brennan is involved in marketing of and acts as an advisor to several pharma companies involved n the development of next generation analgesics as well as strategies to facilitate marketing, evaluation, and detailing of analgesics in several classes. He participates in numerous educational programs and CME presentations focused on pain its assessment and management.
