Mazhar Hussain is an independent technology consultant. He has over 18 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, wireless, handsets, semiconductor, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, broadband DSL, Cable, WLAN and 3G, and networking. Previously, he was Senior Director- worldwide data, voice, and video at Motorola; director- marketing at Texas Instruments, and was responsible for marketing of DSP, wireless cell phone, base stations, broadband, ASIC, and WLAN semiconductor chipsets; and a director- marketing at Terayon Communications, and was responsible for managing broadband modems, routers and gateways for triple play, and accounts for AOL-Time Warner, AT&T, Comcast, Cox, Charter, Cable Vision, Verizon, Sprint, HP, Dell, IBM, Nextel, Nortel, and Nokia.
