Maurice Murphy

Maurice Murphy is Founder and Senior Principal of TMT Legal, a Technology, Media and Telecommunications consultancy in London. He advises clients on complex commercial transactions; corporate and governance matters; and intellectual property issues, including exploitation and enforcement. With respect to communication issues, he has advised on major telecom transactions including m & a, jvs, interconnection/licensing arrangements, and license bids. He has provided telecom/broadcasting regulatory advice and interface with regulators and decision makers in Europe and elsewhere. He regularly advises on antitrust/competition law matters. Previously, Mr. Murphy was Partner and Chair of the TMT practice at the law firm of Watson, Farley & Williams. Before that, he was Partner and led the TMT practice at the law firm of SJ Berwin. Prior to that, Mr. Murphy spent 12 years in various senior in-house roles, including at Equant, Bell Cablemedia, Mercury Communications, Energis and National Grid. (This is me - Update Profile)
