Matthew Standish is the Owner and Principal of Interactive Mobile Media, a consultancy. He was most recently (9/07) the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BroadSoft’s Wireless, IMS and VoIP soft-switching solutions. He is now consulting on his own within the telecom field. Previously Mr. Standish was Head of Practice at Deutsche Telekom's Consulting Group Worldwide. Responsible for managing IMS, 3G, Fixed Mobile Convergence and Video Share Practices Mr. Standish was the Engineering Lead for Cingular Wireless's CTO Organization directing all IMS and Dual Mode Service deployments. Mr. Standish continues as a Technical Advisor and Director for venture capitalists and pre-IPO organizations. He is experienced in storage area networking, mobile wireless, VoIP and optical networking deployments for Verizon, Comcast and Deutsche Telekom. Previously, Mr. Standish was a Principal Architect of VoIP, UMA and Mobile Networks at Avaya. He has also held engineering management positions at Motorola and Sycamore Networks.
