Matt Gordon

Matt Gordon is a Managing Director at Oak Street Advisors. As an investment banking professional, Gordon began his career as a mergers and acquisitions attorney, working for legal firms such as Sullivan & Cromwell and Fried Frank, and representing some of the world's largest companies and financial institutions in a variety of corporate and M&A transactions. His experience includes both domestic and cross-boarder transactions in manufacturing, technology, financial services, advertising, telecom and pharmaceutical sectors, among others. Gordon left the traditional legal practice when he was hired by one of his clients, a European telecom company, to lead their mergers and acquisitions group. Eventually asked to lead their US division, Gordon spearheaded a number of acquisitions and rationalized the entire partnership/acquisition process.
