Council Member Biography

Mary Neil Price is a Member at Miller & Martin in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is a member of their Business and Tax Department. Ms. Price practices business law with special emphasis on financial institutions, securities, mergers and acquisitions and both for profit and tax exempt organizations. Previously, Ms. Price was General Counsel of First American Corporation, where she responsible for all of the company's corporate support functions, SEC reporting, stock and debt offerings, corporate governance and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory relations, shareholder services and stock transfer functions. As head of the legal department, Ms. Price supervised attorneys in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law, bankruptcy, loan document preparation, legal processes and risk management. Her experience also includes private equity and debt financing, licensing transactions, and trademark matters.
