Marta Gil de Biedma is a Partner at Ventura Garcés & López-Ibor Abogados in Madrid, Spain. Ms. Gil specializes in commercial law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, international transactions and insurance. She has experience in handling complex and cross-border corporate transactions, M&A work and joint ventures. She advises leading Spanish and international companies. Ms Gil was previously the partner responsible of the corporate department of Allen & Overy, Spain. She has wide expertise in healthcare, insurance and private equity. She is the author of the chapter relating to Spain in the book "Corporate taxation in the EEC". She has been named a top Corporate lawyer by Chambers Global, Legal 500, Chambers 2007, and other major indices. She holds a law degree from Universidad Complutense in Madrid.
