Mark J. Horoschak is a Partner and Practice Group Leader of the Antitrust & Health Law Practice Groups at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has established a broad-based practice, representing both national and regional companies in mergers, joint ventures, and distributional matters. He has appeared on behalf of clients before the federal antitrust enforcement agencies and in litigation before both federal and state courts. Previously, Mr. Horoschak served as Assistant Director of the Bureau of Competition of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in charge of healthcare enforcement. Before that, he served as Assistant General Counsel and Attorney-Advisor for the Chairman at the FTC. Mr. Horoschak has authored several publications including “Economic Credentialing and Exclusionary Conduct Under the Sherman Act,” "You've Got [Investigative] Mail: Responding to a Government Inquiry," "Antitrust Guidance for Healthcare Providers Enters a New Phase," and "New Market for Hospital Mergers." Mr. Horoschak received his BA in Political Science from American University and his JD from the College of William and Mary. (This is me - Update Profile)
