Mark Berggren is the Founder and Managing Director of Methanol Market Services Asia (MMSA), a firm providing consulting services to the global petrochemical industry. Mr. Berggren has more than 22 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. He also provides extensive project support services such as strategic plan development, merger and acquisition support, program development, and technical and market support for project finance procurement to Asian clients on petrochemicals, including methanol and key derivatives, olefins and polyolefins, styrenics, rubbers, ethylene glycol, and polyesters. Prior, Mr. Berggren was Managing Director at Chemical Market Associates, Singapore. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA. Mr. Berggren authors the annual Methanol and Derivatives Analysis which forecasts methanol, acetic acid, formaldehyde, methyl methacrylate, and their key derivatives globally with focus on Asia.
