Council Member Biography

Leo Pavliv, RPh, MBA, is Vice President Operations at Cumberland Pharmaceuticals in Tennessee. His job responsibilities include directing overall drug development activities for numerous products, regulatory affairs, product development, clinical and non-clinical development, manufacturing, and quality affairs. In addition, Mr. Pavliv is responsible for varied aspects of business development, including selecting and evaluating internal or acquisition candidates and contract negotiations. He has experience in recombinant and natural proteins, peptides, DNA, small molecules, oligonucleotides, and devices in parenteral, oral, inhaled, and topical dosage forms. Mr. Pavliv has prepared numerous regulatory submissions including INDs, NDAs, BLAs, and 505b2s plans. Mr. Pavliv has over 20 years of experience in developing pharmaceutical and biologic products.
