Lee Brickman

Council Member Biography

Lee Brickman has been Director of Marketing, Marketing Research and Product Management at AT&T/Cingular Wireless, where he has 21 years of marketing, product management/development and research experience under his belt. Mr. Brickman managed the marketing and business side of the smart phone business including the AT&T/RIM Blackberry partnership. He also was responsible for understanding AT&T customer needs and translating these needs for smart phone manufacturers to develop new applications for AT&T. Mr. Brickman is familiar with many other manufacturers including Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, LG, Apple, HTC, PALM, and Samsung. He managed end user research amongst AT&T customers where smart phone product suggestions were shared amongst these manufacturers. Mr. Brickman applied this extensive telecommunications/technology experience for 3 years as a Senior Wireless and Wireline Analyst at Saffran Square Consulting. He developed for 8 large clients in the telecom/cable/ISP/technology industry: independent analysis and views on large and middle size providers "marketing and product strategies", "smart phone plans", "wireless plans", "high speed Internet plans", "video plans" and "triple play plans". He has specialized on the Cable/Telephone Company wars and tracks outcomes in all regions of the US. For the last 3 years Lee has been an Adjunct Professor, Telecommunications and Marketing at Centenary College in New Jersey. (This is me - Update Profile)
