Dr. Kerry Brown is an advisor at Schmittzehe & Partners, a China focused management consultancy offering China inbound and outbound business development and corporate finance M&A advisory services, as well as execution, including interim management, out of the Group's offices in Beijing and Shanghai. He is a senior fellow for the Asia Programme at Chatham House, the world's leading source of independent analysis, informed debate and influential ideas on how to build a prosperous world for all. Dr. Brown also serves as an Executive Director of the Liverpool Shanghai Partnership and Chair of the China Discussion Group - Chatham House. Some of his recent publications include, "The Rise of the Dragon - Chinese Inward and Outward Investment in the Reform Era" & "China is an opportunity, not a threat". His expertise lies in Chinese politics and culture, relations among East Asian countries, China's private sector and its international trade policy. Recent projects include engaging Chinese public intellectuals and their role and influence in contemporary China, China’s vision of its role in the world in the next two decades, and China's private sector. Dr. Brown has worked as a diplomat in China, commented on China for BBC, ITN, CNN and Bloomberg, and written about China in the Telegraph and Independent. (This is me - Update Profile)
