Kentaro YASUI is a seasoned strategy and business development professional in the high-tech sector, having established his own consulting firm, Inspirior LLC, while also serving as MD of AZCA, Inc. headquartered in Menlo Park, CA. He advises (i) large Japanese corporates regarding new growth strategies, open innovation and alliance strategies, and (ii) US pre-IPO companies regarding Japan market entry and business development, while also (iii) making angel investments in a select group of pre-IPO companies in US and Japan. Currently, he serves on the Board of KK) Seedlife-tech, an agri-bio startup in Shiga, Japan focused on plant germination technologies and applications thereof. Ken began his management consulting career with McKinsey & Company's Tokyo & Osaka offices; progressed in consulting career track with Monitor Company (Cambridge, MA), and The McKenna Group (Palo Alto, CA; now defunct).
