ADOBE (ADBE) To Emerge As Dominate Unified Collaboration Player

March 6, 2009

Adobe's Dominance in Internet | www.thestreet.com

Adobe is presently on 95% of all Apple and PC systems and thus has a broad landscape on which to paint its new collaboration strategy.  Furthermore, the company is a recognized leader in multimedia (FLASH) and its PDF Adobe Reader products are a document standard. Some may not have noticed, but Adobe has now launched its own version of web collaboration tools - for FREE.  The user interface is impressive by all standards and is on par with user interface design from Apple, and Microsoft alas.  Interestingly, Adobe has now added in desktop VoIP and video in a seamless package. Wow - a company poised for leadership in the unified collaboration space at a time when we need "better collaboration" tools.
