Kathleen Maher

Kathleen Maher is a senior analyst at Jon Peddie Research, a market research company. She has authored reports for JPR including the Digital Content Creation report, CAD 2003, and early reports on the evolving DVD industry. Most recently she has completed the latest version of the CAD report. She is also the principal writer and editor for Jon Peddie's regular TechWatch report, a bi-weekly report on the graphics and multimedia industry. She is experienced in early computing and oversaw the installation of PC based typesetting equipment at the Austin Chronicle, where she was the Assistant Editor. She has also held editorial positions in the high-tech field including Editor-in-Chief of Cadence magazine and consulting editor for start ups 3D Design Magazine and Interactivity.
