Kapil Bhalla, MD, is the Director of Cancer Center and a Professor of Medicien in the Department of Hematology-Oncology at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Bhalla’s research interests include molecular regulation of apoptosis induced by anti-leukemic nucleoside analogues, anti-microtubule agent and death ligands, utilizing cellular models of breast cancer, acute leukemia, and endothelial cells. Previously, Dr. Bhalla was the Scientific Director of the Breast Cancer Program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, and a Professor of Medicine at University of South Florida.
