Josef Parvizi, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences at Stanford University. Dr. Parvizi has main interest in analyzing the design and results of new clinical trials, of medications or devices, in various fields of neurology. He has clinical expertise in Alzheimer's disease, neuropathic pain, multiple sclerosis, involuntary emotional expression disorder, and epilepsy. Dr. Parvizi has published multiple articles in leading neurological journals and has taught at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Harvard Medical School, UCLA Medical Center, and Mayo Clinic.
