Jon Arnold is the Principal of J Arnold & Associates, a marketing consultancy with a focus on IP communications and an independent Telecom Analyst. He is also the co-founder of Intelligent Communications Partners, a consultancy focused on the emerging Smart Grid sector and its relationship to telecom and IP communications. Previously, Mr. Arnold was the VoIP Program Leader at Frost & Sullivan, where he specialized in nextgen carrier networks - softswitches, media gateways, application servers, media servers and session border controllers. He is knowledgeable in residential and enterprise markets and has expertise in VoIP, Unified Communications, Telepresence, mobile broadband, social media and Web 2.0. He speaks regularly at industry conferences, is frequently quoted in the press, radio and television, authors a highly regarded blog, and writes a bi-monthly telecom column for TMCnet.
