John Silk

John Silk is currently an independent consultant in the aerospace industry. Prior, Mr. Silk was a Sales Engineer at Barden Corporation, a leader in precision ball bearing manufacturing. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and new business development for aluminum, titanium, and nickel based alloy metal structures for the aerospace and defense industry in the US, Europe, Brazil, and Japan. He also has experience in developing and implementing unique and cost effective manufacturing techniques for aerospace and defense related metal components. Mr. Silk has provided consulting services to RTI International Metals which is one of the main titanium players in the field and is very familiar with their products and operations. Mr. Silk is extremely familiar with the business of Carpenter Technologies and TIMET (Titanium Metals Corporation). (This is me - Update Profile)
