John Ducey was a former EVP of Operations at Darden Restaurants. Mr. Ducey worked with Darden for over 26 years. He spent over 14 years with Red Lobster in operations doing every job from Assistant Restaurant Manager to Area Supervisor through Director of Operations. He held a variety of Executive Operations positions at Darden during his last 12 years. He was a Senior Vice President of Operations and served on the executive teams of Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Smokey Bones at various times. He was an Executive Vice President of Operations with Smokey Bones and helped guide this brands growth from 6 to 120 restaurants. In this position he helped set strategy for all company functions, built business plans, selected sites, designed prototypes, and was responsible for all elements of restaurant operations.
