John Cochran, MD, is the Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Chestatee Pathology Associates in Atlanta, GA. He is also the Medical Director of two Atlanta-area hospital laboratories and founded the first independent podiatric pathology laboratory in the U.S. Dr. Cochran has consulted on the following entities: Genzyme, Cerner, Immucor, Beckman Coulter (Olympus), Siemens (Bayer/Dade Behring), GenProbe, Cryolife, Quest Diagnostics (Ameripath), LabCorp, Clarient, Biorad, Abbott, Regeneration Technologies, Ortho (J&J), BD (TriPath), Hologic (Cytyc), Qiagen/Digene, Inverness Medical (Biosite), Roche (Ventana), Affymetrix, Dako, Sakura Finetek, Leica, Thermo Fisher, Allscripts (Misys/Sunquest), Sysmex, UpToDate, Ovid, MDConsult (Elsevier), and McKesson.
