John Ansell, MBA, has been the Director of John Ansell Consultancy, a pharmaceutical consulting firm in Thame, United Kingdom, since November 1990. Mr. Ansell has advised some 120 pharma, biotech and companies providing pharmaceutical services. He focuses on international marketing and business development projects, reflecting his 20 years experience in the pharma industry with Organon, Schering AG, Fisons, Solvay and Glaxo. Mr. Ansell has acted as Chairman at over 30 pharma conferences, is a frequent speaker on marketing, deals and R&D strategy, and has authored over 40 articles. Mr. Ansell's qualifications are in Biochemistry (BSc Hons, Liverpool University) and Business Studies (MA, Sheffield University). He is Honorary Consultant to Manchester University Pharmacy School. Mr. Ansell is the author of a new Falconbury distance learning course "Understanding the Pharmaceutical Industry". He was appointed Chairman of the Advisory Board of Decision Resources in 2005.
