John "Jerry" Ryan is an independent consultant. Mr. Ryan was most recently Vice President of Acquisitions at Aviv Asset Management. Aviv has one of the largest privately held portfolios of triple-net leased skilled nursing facilities in the United States. He was a Vice President of Acquisitions for Harborside Healthcare Corporation, where he analyzed and screened nursing home candidates for possible acquisition. Mr. Ryan has worked in executive level acquisitions positions with Epoch Senior Living (assisted living owner/operator), Meditrust Corporation (health care REIT) and Diversified Health Services (once largest manager of nursing homes in the US). He has experience in originating business, financial and operational analysis, negotiating and closing acquisitions, site evaluation, strategic planning, and project financing.
