Mr. Jeremy Drew

Council Member Biography

Jeremy Drew is the Principal of Drew Management Consultants. Mr. Drew has more than 25 years of experience in providing consultancy on a range of railway economic, regulatory, and business issues in more than 20 countries. He has worked for industry regulators in the UK, worked on franchise bid evaluation, advised on rail freight policy and grants, and investment appraisals. Mr. Drew has also advised private European rail operators on regulatory, contractual, and other commercial matters and has been involved in several franchise bids. He conducted railway industry market reviews in China, Russia, Ukraine, Europe, and Kazakhstan; analysed business performance in India; and provided advice on regulation in Russia, South Africa, and Kazakhstan. Mr. Drew has considerable knowledge of the railway supply industry, particularly rolling stock, and has conducted numerous market reviews in this area.
