Jeffrey Silberzweig, MD, is Medical Director of The Rogosin Institute's Manhattan Dialysis Center and the New York Presbyterian Hospital's Inpatient Dialysis Unit as well as the Co-Director of The Rogosin Institute Queens Dialysis Center. He is also a faculty member at Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Silberzweig's research interests include improving the quality of life of patients with chronic renal disease and developing new treatments for anemia and metabolic bone disease. He has expertise in the management of all clinical issues related to the kidneys, fluid, and electrolyte balance. Dr. Silberzweig was involved in the first US clinical trials of a device to remove larger molecules that cause chronic bone, joint, and organ failure. He is also interested in cardiac function and infectious complications in patients receiving maintenance dialysis. (This is me - Update Profile)
