Jean-Luc Vachiery, MD, FESC, is a Professor of Cardiology and Head of the Pulmonary Vascular Diseases Unit, Erasme Hospital, a European expert PAH center in Belgium. Currently, Dr. Vachiery is involved as Steering Committee Member of Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in all major trials on PAH (ARIES program, STRIDE program, SUPER1 and 2 trials, and COMPASS. Dr. Vachiery has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of end-stage heart diseases, pulmonary arterial hypertension and heart transplantation. Dr Vachiery is the current Chairman of the Working Group on Pulmonary Circulation and Right Ventricular Function of the European Society of Cardiology. (This is me - Update Profile)
