James Mariano

James Mariano is a cofounder and Principal at ExMor Capital, a mortgage industry service company, dedicated to managing capital markets risk for financial institutions originating residential mortgages. He has 18 years in the mortgage banking industry ranging from sales and sales management to secondary, risk management, and operations. Prior to starting ExMor in April 2008, Mr. Mariano was instrumental in building Morgan Stanley’s Correspondent Conduit. As a Regional Director, Mr. Mariano was responsible for flow, forward flow, and bulk sales in the Northeast. In this role, he covered some of the largest mortgage banks in the country, becoming an integral partner for his clients, assisting them with their secondary decisions and strategies. His specific expertise is in trading, client management and product development. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Mariano held management positions at Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp, General Electric Capital, E*Trade. (This is me - Update Profile)
