James Cade is the Vice President of Maintenance and Purchasing of Fredrick-Thompson. Mr. Cade is responsible for managing the vehicle assets of the company and purchasing, maintaining, and disposing of used equipment. He is also responsible for fuel management for the company. Mr. Cade has over 27 years of experience in managing operational and maintenance workforces, negotiating parts and vehicle acquisitions, insuring customer service and cost control, and planning strategic direction for all vehicle operations. Previously, Mr. Cade was the Executive Vice President of Maintenance and Purchasing at Arrow Trucking, the Executive Vice President of Fleet Operations at Annett Holdings and the Vice President of Maintenance at Ryder Corporation. Overall truck production is down due to significant slowing in the economy and an uncertain future. The lack of available credit is also multiplying the effect of the economy. Until the economy improves I do not expect truck production to improve.
