JC Anderson was a Senior Vice President of Operations at Whirlpool, a home appliance manufacturer, where he worked from 1968 to 2007. Mr. Anderson had responsibilities for the manufacturing operations of 16 plants and 22,000 employees as well as related material and component procurement, product engineering, and inbound and finished product logistics. He developed a manufacturing strategic plan and related plant restructurings, a four-month training program (Operational Excellence) to provide engineers a tool kit for cost/quality improvements, a Logistics Strategic Plan addressing economical product movement from the plants to trade partners in a timely and cost effective manner, and the overall product quality improvement program. He represented the operations side of the business in the overall evaluation of the Maytag Corporation acquisition. Upon FTC approval of the acquisition, he led the effective implementation of the Operations' synergies. (This is me - Update Profile)
