J. Erik Hvide is the Principal of HMS Consulting, where he has worked since 2000. HMS Consulting specializes in the offshore energy services and the cruise industry. Here, Mr. Hvide is responsible for strategic and M & A consulting for industry participants as well as institutional investment managers. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Magellan World Cruises. At Magellan World Cruises, he is leading a team of cruise industry professionals in the development of unique cruise products targeted at the luxury segment of the leisure industry. Previously, Mr. Hvide was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Seabulk International from 1981 to 1999. With vision, strategic planning and tenacity, he raised $1.5 billion, creating a leading provider of global marine energy services with a fleet of 273 vessels operating in 20 countries, revenues grew to $400 million and EBITDA of $137 million.
