Ira Lehrman, Ph.D.

Ira Lehrman has recently joined Primus Metals, Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Primus Metals, Lehrman was the Vice President of Strategic Cable Initiatives at TANDBERG Television, a company specializing in providing digital transmission of voice, data and video across various networks including cable, satellite, terrestrial, IP and telecom. Previously, he held positions as an Executive Director in the Video Products Engineering at Comcast/AT&T Broadband, where he was responsible for video-on-demand, personal video recording, interactive TV, set-top box software and hardware, network architecture, and project management; as a Systems Engineering Manager at General Instrument Corporation assigned to AT&T. where he was responsible for coordinating technical activities related to digital set top deployment and development of the National Access Controller.
