Ian Davenport is founder and President of Davenport International Associates, an international consultancy providing project based support to international companies with emphasis on strategic direction & business development in the chemicals sector. Recent work includes technology evaluations for major chemical companies prior to in-license and commercialization and assisting major international corporations in developing business plans. Prior to that Mr. Davenport had 24 years of experience of specialty and commodity chemicals with The Dow Chemical Company, holding a variety of general management and commercial leadership positions for business units including: acrylic acid & esters, superabsorbent products, specialty chemicals, as well as emulsions & consumer products.
