Council Member Biography

Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad, MD, is a Professor of Urology at the UMDNJ, Chief of Urology at VA-NJHCS, and the Director of the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine at the Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad has expertise in the latest urological innovations including prostate cancer, BPH & overactive bladder, male infertility, Peyronie's Disease and erectile dysfunction. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of numerous professional organizations including the AUA, SMSNA (Board Member), and ASRM. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad is a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial board of the JSM as well as an American Urological Association global task force. He served as the Scientific Program Chairman for the SMS North America meeting in 2008. In 2010, Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad was a course director and an invited speaker at the prestigious Plenary Session of the American Urological Association meeting in San Francisco.
