Harvey Gutman

Harvey Gutman is the President of Brookside Advisors LLC, a company focusing on retail and real estate consultancy serving clients including retail chains, wholesalers, private equity firms, non-profit firms, and development companies. Mr. Gutman is knowledgeable on all aspects of commercial real estate and most sectors of the retail industry including the organic/natural food business. Previously, Mr. Gutman was Senior VP for Pathmark Stores, Inc. where he served in senior management positions from 1976-2006. Pathmark Stores, a northeast supermarket chain which operated 141 high-volume stores, is now part of A&P. At Pathmark, he was responsible for real estate, store construction, site location, acquisitions/divestitures, investor and security analyst communications and public and government relations. He also has experience in finance, strategic planning, consumer research and merchandising. Previously, he has served as Director of Research for Abraham & Straus Department Stores.
