Graham Linsdell is a Principal Partner in ALTEC Consultoria; a consultancy, business development, and projects company based in Sao Paulo, Brazil; operating in the Brazilian energy sector. Mr. Linsdell has experience in the downstream natural gas sector in Brazil, UK, US, and Pakistan; which spans technical consultancy, privatizations, regulatory, and tariff revenues. More recently he has provided technical consultancy and market intelligence services in Brazil’s rapidly developing sugar and alcohol sector. Mr. Linsdell holds a BS in Engineering and has undertaken post graduate studies in Management and Total Quality. (This is me - Update Profile)

Brazil passed through a period of electrical power rationing in 2000/2001 due to low hydro power reserves, from which demand levels have only recently recovered.
With Bolivia nationalizing IOC assets and threatening to significantly increase gas pricing, Petrobras has stepped back from Bolivia-Brazil pipeline expansion plans and stage may be set for another energy shortage, this time of natural gas.
