Gerald Harris is an independent consultant. He is currently a program manager and consultant for the UMTS roll-out for a wireless carrier in the US. He is responsible for site acquisition and development, RF design, construction and core network integration. Previously, Mr. Harris was the Senior Project Manager and Consultant at Ericsson, and was responsible for switch integration and network re-engineering at Cingular Wireless in the Southeast region. He was also responsible for core network infrastructure planning and integration at Cingular Wireless and AT&T Wireless networks post merger, including switching and interconnection, transport, NOC, EMS, event notification, load balancing, and numbering. He is experienced in network infrastructures utilizing TDMA, GSM, and UMTs. Prior to the Cingular merger, he consulted for AT&T Wireless and was responsible for forecasting and audit for overall network usage on deployed technologies. (This is me - Update Profile)
